Pan-Seared Garlic Shrimp







Pan-Seared Garlic Shrimp   
            
       
  Ingredients

 1 pound frozen (or fresh) extra-large shrimp 
(16-20 to a pound. Peeled and Deveined.
 1 teaspoon fresh minced garlic
 1/4 cup olive oil
 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes          


 Directions
  
1. Run cold water over the shrimp in a colander until thawed.

 2. Drain well, and pat dry 

 3. Combine the olive oil, garlic, salt, black pepper, and red 
pepper flakes in a small bowl and mix well. Add the thawed 
shrimp and toss to coat well. Cover tightly and refrigerate for 
at least 30 minutes and up to 1 hour.

 4. Heat a large heavy skillet over medium heat. After a couple 
of minutes take the shrimp out of the marinade and cook 
1-3 minutes per side or until they are opaque. 
Serve immediately and enjoy.
