Tomato Shrimp Saute

Tomato Shrimp Saute    

 2 tablespoons butter
 1 medium onion, chopped
 1 green bell pepper, chopped
 1/2 cup chopped celery
 8 oz can tomato sauce
 1 lb med. shrimp peeled
 1 tablespoon soy sauce
 1 teaspoon brown sugar  


1. Heat butter in large heavy skillet and saute onion, green pepper, 
and celery until just starting to get tender.

 2. Stir in remaining ingredients (except rice and shrimp) 
and simmer over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

 3. Add shrimp the last 5-10 minutes of cooking.

 4. Serve over hot cooked rice.
