Chicken Mozzarella

Chicken Mozzarella        

 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves 
 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 
 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 
 1/2 teaspoon sugar 
 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce 
 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
                                   4 slices Mozzarella cheese                                   

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

 2. Place chicken in a baking dish.

 3. Bake, covered, for 15 minutes at 425 degrees F.

 4. While chicken is baking, combine tomato sauce, 
oregano, sugar, hot pepper sauce and garlic salt; 
simmer in small saucepan. If needed, add 1 tablespoon 
cornstarch to thicken sauce. 

 5. Drain chicken; pour tomato sauce mixture over 
and top with cheese. Return to oven and bake, 
uncovered, for 5 minutes longer.
