Garbanzo and Pasta Soup

Garbanzo and Pasta Soup   

 1 qt. Chicken broth 
 1 can (15 ounces) garbanzo beans, rinsed, drained
 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
 1 chopped medium onion
 1 minced clove garlic
 1/3 cup finely chopped celery
 1/2 cup finely chopped carrot
 1 bay leaf
 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme 
 1/2 teaspoon basil leaves
 1 small zucchini, chopped
 1/3 cup uncooked ditalini pasta
                                                    Salt and pepper                                                              


 1. Combine all ingredients, except zucchini, 
pasta, salt, and pepper, in crock pot.

 2. Cover and cook on high 4 to 6 hours.

 3. Add zucchini and pasta during last 20-25 minutes. 

 4. Discard bay leaf.

 5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
